Background all done
Well the background of my current work is all done. There might be a slight change to it as the piece nears completion, but at the moment I am calling it finished =]

Lovely ARF girls
I have been trying to pull together some photos of the lovely rescue dogs at ARF before winter as the days get to short for taking photos and I travel a fair bit on the weekends.
Today as part of that I got to meet these three lovely girls. The first of these girls is Jess. Jess is one of the most lovely dogs I have met, super friendly and happy, with a gorgeous smile. Jess is pretty active and loves playing with her other doggy companions as well as checking out all the humans around to see if they want to play as well. More info on Jess is avalible here
The next two littlies are not available for adoption yet. They are both lovely friendly girls who I had a great time with. The first is KC, a lovely little staff type who is just recovering from a skin condition. The second is Tess, she has not been in foster care for long, but already she is settling in nicely.
Over the weekend I have been working on my current piece, I should have an update tomorrow!

Been busy ;p
Well the last two night have not been to great for my drawing as I have been pretty busy. I have managed to put some work into the background though and things are starting to come together.

Larry on hold
I have bit Larry to one side for a bit as I work on something new. This little girl has been a real challenge and alot of fun so far!
There is alot of work still to be done before I can start the portrait of her sister, but that is ok, flowers are fun to draw as well =]

What a Starr!
Today I had the pleasure of meeting a lovely little dog called Starr. Starr is currently in the excellent care of ARF (Act Rescue and Foster) and is looking for a forever home. I will be starting a portrait of Starr after I have finished Larry's portrait so I better get a wriggle on!
Starr is a gorgeous little dog, who has had a little bit of a tough start to life. When I arrived she started out a little shy, but it did not take long for her to come over and say hello. She was really well behaved for her photos, as she already has some training under her belt. Lovely and polite, she was a pleasure to work with.
